- Per ASME B36.10M (carbon steel) and B36.19M (stainless). Sch. 5 and 10 columns are the stainless 5S/10S walls;
Sch. 40 = Std. through NPS 10; Sch. 80 = XS through NPS 8.
- PVC/CPVC Sch. 40 and 80 (ASTM D1785 / F441) share the same OD and minimum wall as steel Sch. 40 and 80.
- Nominal size ≠ OD for NPS ≤ 12. All values nominal; mill tolerances apply.
Copper Water Tube
- Per ASTM B88. OD is always nominal + 1/8". (ACR tube is sized by actual OD instead.)
EMT Conduit
- Per ANSI C80.3. Trade sizes 2-1/2" and up share OD with the same NPS pipe.
